APICAL has strong refinery operations in Indonesia and China. A leading player in the palm oil industry, it is an integrated consumer products manufacturer with a range of vegetable oil-based value-add products including cooking oil, margarine, shortening, frying fat, and biodiesel.

APICAL’s refineries are located in Jakarta Utara (KBN Marunda) with a capacity of 1,000 MT/day, Dumai (Riau – Sumatera) with a capacity of 3,000 MT/day, Tanjung Balai (Sumatera) with a capacity 325 MT/day. Bulking tank sites are located at Padang (Sumatera), Bagendang (Central Kalimantan) and Semarang (Central Java).

Quality Service Manager
(Dumai - Riau)

Responsibilities:
    Responsible in all aspects of quality, sanitation, hygiene, cost & product development, and customer complaints so as to improve quality and productivity as guided in the Quality Management Manual and SOPs.
    Set up, document and implement the QA system for the Refinery & Oleochemical, with the aim for successful certification with the relevant certification bodies.
    Review, prepare and implement all Quality Assurance & Control SOPs for the work processes.
    Coordinate and develop Quality Management System related training and training materials for internal training.
    Set and ensure achievement of targets and KPI’s for the Quality Department.

Requirements:
    Minimum 8-12 years related experience in edible oil or Refinery & Oleochemical industries, with at least 3 (three) years in a managerial position.
    Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Science.
    Required Technical skills: GMP, Quality Assurance Management.
    Good communication in English (both oral & written), proactive, analytical thinking, and detail oriented.
    Good organizational & administrative, troubleshooting and diagnosis skills.
    Strong leadership capability, customer service oriented, able to work independently and in a team environment.
    Resourceful and self-driven.
    Willing to be placed at Dumai – Lubuk Gaung (Riau).
